

Nickos Geladas was born in the island of Zakynthos. He got a Physical Education and Sport Science degree from the University of Athens, and a Master and PhD degree from the School of Kinesiology, Simon Fraser University, Canada. For the last 15 years he has been professor of Ergophysiology, in the National and Kapodistrian University. His research interests focus on environmental and physiological factors affecting human performance in athletes and people with chronic diseases. He has published numerous research articles in renowned journals related to biology of exercise. His work is internationally recognized and quoted by other researchers over 4,500 times.
