Maraki Maria

Maria Maraki is an Assistant Professor in Nutrition, Exercise Performance and Health at the Department of Physical Education & Sport Science of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens. She is a dietitian, with postgraduate studies at the Medical School of the University of Glasgow and doctoral studies at the Department of Nutrition and Dietetics of Harokopio University. Her research focuses on the Mediterranean Diet and exercise in weight management and neurodegenerative disease prevention. She advocates interdisciplinarity in research, teaching, and practice. In her free time, she volunteers in medical missions or exercises in nature.
